Brief Bio

Anthony Reed, CPA, PMP, MBA, MS is the true Renaissance man. This globetrotting business executive and 26.2-mile marathoner has passions for life, adventures, and education. He has over 25 years of managing multi-million dollar, international projects. This endurance enthusiast has also completed over 170 running and bicycling races. This includes over 100 26.2-mile marathons, such as the exotic Great Wall of China and the brutal Antarctica Marathons. As an adjunct professor, he taught project management, IT, business management, and accounting. He has published five books and over fifty articles. And he's spoken at accounting, software quality, project management, and IT conferences around the world.

His professional and athletic exploits were featured in many articles. He's the first Black and one of fewer than 250 people who have completed a 26.2-mile marathon on every continent. He was also on the Oracle Applications Users’ Group (OAUG) Board of Directors and The Dallas Oracle Users’ Group CIO Advisory Board. Anthony is on the Board of Directors for the Dallas White Rock Marathon.
